Downtown Baltimore buildings that were closed Friday due to heat loss will reopen Monday. Several buildings, including City Hall, the Abel Wolman Municipal Building, and the Cummings Courthouse among others, closed Friday afternoon after emergency repair work by Vicinity Energy caused the bu ildings to lose heat. The closures impacted in-person city services, such as billing, revenue collection, and water system customer service. City officials announced Sunday that the buildings would reopen Monday with normal hours, and that all in-person city services located in the affected buildings would be once again available to the public.
