(KRON) -- The Oakland Police Department is asking the public for information following a shooting that left one person dead Friday. Man who allegedly attacked woman for filming him in bakery sought by San Jose police OPD said officers responded to the 5400 block of Coliseum Way just before Noon to i nvestigate several reports of a shooting. A man was found at the scene suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, according to Oakland police. He was taken to a nearby hospital by emergency medics where he later died. It is not clear what led to the incident. In a statement to KRON4, police said homicide detectives are now handling the investigation. The victim's identity is not being released at this time. Police have not provided a description of the suspect(s).
