Mentor City Council makes appointments to boards, commissions

Several residents were appointed to boards and commissions during the recent Mentor City Council organizational meeting.
On Jan. 6, three were chosen to serve four-year terms on the Board of Building and Zoning Appeals ending Dec. 31, 2029. Jacob Hailperin-Lausch and Lisa Marinelli were reappointed
while Annie F. Payne was appointed to the board.
Four people were selected to serve a four-year term on the Municipal Planning Commission ending Dec. 31, 2029. John Crocker and Richard Thiedemann were reappointed while Patrick John O’Donnell and Richard M. Zaleski were appointed.
Meanwhile, Diane Pauley and Dan Llewellyn were both reappointed to serve four-year terms on the Civil Service Commission ending Dec. 31, 2029.
Fred Koch was reappointed to serve a three-year term on the Fair Housing Board ending Dec. 31, 2028.
Kathryn A. O’Neil was appointed to serve a four-year term on the Tree Commission ending Dec. 31, 2029, while Michael Maggio was appointed to serve a three-year term on the Tree Commission ending Dec. 31, 2028.
Two citizens were chosen to serve two-year terms on the Income Tax Board of Review ending Dec. 31, 2027. Kenneth Stopek was reappointed and Matthew Duraney was appointed.
