The two teams were set to take the floor at the United Center for an Eastern Conference showdown, but tipoff time for the game came and we nt, and players were sent back to their locker rooms. So what happened? According to the Bulls, the game was delayed because of condensation forming on the court, which was likely caused by the above-average temperatures and the humidity that the Chicago area is dealing with on Thursday. The game was delayed for nearly two hours before the Bulls announced that the contest would be postponed, with a makeup date yet to be announced.
