Jan. 9 forecast with Tara Hastings (v2) INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Overnight rain coming to an end. We will look for a breezy day with temperatures falling throughout the afternoon. It will feel much more like January this weekend with temperatures closer to normal for this time of the year. Snow c hances are also possible this weekend.  We tied our record high temperature yesterday at 63 degrees. A few spotty showers and thunderstorms overnight have come to an end. We have already hit our high temperature for today and readings will continue to drop this afternoon. TODAY: Look for mostly cloudy conditions through the first part of the day today. We will see some sunshine possibly peeking through later this afternoon. Look for temperatures this afternoon to be into the ’50s and into the ’40s by the evening commute. Winds will be a bit gusty at times especially early in the day. TONIGHT: A few clouds around tonight low temperatures will fall close to 40. If you were heading to the peach bowl in Atlanta we will see some rain chances with temperatures right around 70. TOMORROW: It turns much colder for the weekend. On Saturday mostly cloudy conditions a few scattered showers. Some light snow might be possible with some spots in northern Indiana seeing a coating of snow. Look for high temperatures right around 46. 7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: On Sunday even colder air moves in with highs right around freezing. Look for mainly cloudy conditions with some light snow showers possible.  We’ll look for more sunshine on Monday but it is going to start off cold. Windchill values will likely be in the teens. Partly cloudy conditions on Monday afternoon with highs approaching 40. Into the upper 40s on Tuesday with partly cloudy skies.
