There’s no sure bets when it comes to Super Bowl LX. But there’s a surefire way to help an Inland Empire nonprofit group — and possibly score tickets to this year’s big game. To raise money for its services, the Inland Empire Lighthouse for the Blind is raffling off two tickets to the Feb. 8 game in Santa Clara. Raffle tickets cost $100 each. For context, the average ticket price for last year’s Super Bowl was $8,076 in the final weeks leading to the game, CBS Sports reported. Formed in 1951, the San Bernardino-based nonprofit organization teaches independent living and other skills free of charge to blind and visually impaired people. First prize includes the tickets and a three-night stay for two at the SureStay Plus by Best Western Santa Clara Silicon Valley. Second prize is $1,000 and third prize is $500. The lighthouse has raffled off Super Bowl tickets since 2014, lighthouse Executive Director Sandy Wood said via email. Al Jury, a retired NFL referee and San Bernardino native who died in 2024, served on the lighthouse’s board of directors and was the nonprofit group’s ticket connection, Wood added. Raffle tickets can be purchased on the lighthouse website — — ielighthousefortheblind.org — or in person or via mail. The lighthouse’s address is 359 E. Parkcenter Circle South, San Bernardino, CA 92408. The raffle drawing, which is open to the public, will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at the lighthouse.
