HS Boys Basketball Wrap: WWP South bests Steinert for first victory

PRINCETON JCT. — The West Windsor-Plainsboro South boys basketball team is in the win column.
Adriel Dominguez scored 14 points and the Pirates beat Steinert, 51-47, in a matchup of the two bottom teams in the CVC on Thursday night.
Ethan Hsiao had seven and hauled down 10 rebounds for South (1-9)

Michael Shanklin netted a game-best 19 points for the Spartans (0-8).
Princeton 44, Notre Dame 42
PRINCETON — Zion Madden scored 11 points and the Tigers (3-6) held on for a victory over the Irish (2-8), who played without leading scorer Will Foley. Lucas Chuderewicz led ND with 13 points.
Hamilton West 45, PDS 39
PRINCETON — Noreon Martinez and Nakye Bradshaw combined to score 33 points and the Hornets (3-6) buzzed the Panthers (4-4).
Robbinsville 69, Hightstown 56
ROBBINSVILLE — Tyler Bunnell continued a strong season with 14 points, Jackson Davis added 16 and the Ravens (5-4) knocked off the Rams (6-6) in a game between two teams hovering around .500. Christian Kingwood led Hightstown with 12 points and James Boswell put in 11.

LAWRENCE TWP. — Michael Carrick scored 20.points, Josh Wilson tallied 18 and Marvin McNeil finished with 16 to lead the Cardinals (7-4) past the Knights (1-9). Neev Jain topped the scorers for North with 12 points.

HAMILTON — Marjon Skillman recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, Tyler Hammond finished with 11 points and the Titans (8-1) beat up College Achieve Asbury Park (0-4).

COLUMBUS — Erick Torres had 16 points to lead three players in double figures and the Greyhounds (6-2) picked up a victory over Mastery Camden (8-3). Rowan Boyce added 14 points and Gavin Hoppe finished with 13 for NBC.

PRINCETON — Blake Hargrove poured in 26 points, Jackson Cullert added 14 and the Raiders (10-3) avenged a few years worth of losses against the Red Hawks (2-5) in a MAPL contest.
