PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Prince George County officials have warned the public to avoid part of James River Road Thursday afternoon to allow for crews to respond to a sinking or submerged vehicle. At around 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8, Prince George County Fire and EMS notified the public through a social media post that crews were on scene at the 1000 block of James River Drive to respond to a sinking or submerged vehicle call. The public was asked to avoid the area if possible, and if you must travel nearby, drive slow and give responders space.
