FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WLNE) — A New Bedford man accused in a Sunday triple-stabbing incident in Fairhaven is being held without bail. 21-year-old Gavin Massas pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a long list of charges: Assault and battery with dangerous weapon (firearm) Assault with intent to murder wit h a firearm (two counts) Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (knife) Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon with severe bodily injury (knife) Carrying a loaded firearm without a license Disorderly conduct Disturbing the peace Massas is accused of stabbing three people outside of a home on Cherry Street, leaving one in critical condition.
