The deadline is approaching for people who want to register for the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Awards. The event will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 15 and include cocktails, networking, the annual meeting, dinner and an awards presentation, the chamber webs ite stated. It will take place at Painesville Elks Lodge 549, 723 Liberty St., Painesville. This chamber announced that this year’s Business of the Year is Bob’s Garage and Towing in Painesville Township, while the Beacon Award winners are Sub Zero Mission and David Komjati. The chamber’s website indicated that the registration deadline is Jan. 8, and ELCCC Executive Director Katrina March said the chamber wants a “solid headcount number” by Jan. 9.
