Jan 05, 2026
The Park City Police Department received at least three complaints about fireworks as people celebrated New Year’s and then apparently continued to mark the occasion the next day.
The police occasionally receive complaints about people using fireworks on New Year’s, and the reports seemed si

The cases included:

On Jan. 2 at 10:04 p.m., people were found lighting fireworks in the area of Doc Holliday Drive and Samuel Colt Court. The fireworks were on the street, the police said. Public police logs indicated “due to the amount of spent fireworks on the ground they had been going on for a while.”
On Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 8:38 p.m., fireworks were reported on American Saddler Drive.
Other incidents reported to the Police Department recently included:

The department classified the report as a citizen assist rather than a suspected criminal case.
