COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Nebraska Men’s Reach Top Ten, Husker Women Drop to Five Spots

The new ratings released Monday show the Huskers now ranked at No. 10, after Nebraska defeated previ
ously ninth-ranked Michigan State 58-56 on Friday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The Spartans slipped three spots to No. 12 this week.
Arizona remains No. 1, followed by Michigan, Iowa State (all of whom are undefeated), then once-beaten UConn, Purdue, Duke, Houston, Gonzaga and BYU are all in front of the Huskers in that respective order.
Meanwhile, the Nebraska women’s basketball team dropped five spots to No. 25 in the Women’s AP Top 25 this week. The Huskers are coming off a 16-point win Sunday against Purdue.
