After the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones was found dead in a hallway at the Fairmont Hotel just hours after midnight on New Year’s Eve, we’re learning she racked up something of an arrest record in the Bay Area in 2025.We were all shocked by the New Year’s Day news that the daughter of Osca r-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones had just died at SF’s Fairmont Hotel, with police and paramedics being called to the scene just three hours after the New Year’ stroke of midnight. And of course we learned that the previously unidentified woman was Tommy Lee Jones’s daughter because TMZ first reported it, and shortly after, the Marin Independent Journal unearthed that the daughter Victoria Jones also had an active drug-related charge against her in Napa County. That may be part of the reason why the Tommy Lee Jones family released a statement asking for privacy as they mourn, according to the Chronicle. “We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts, and prayers,” the family said in their statement released late last week. “Please respect our privacy during this difficult time. Thank you.” That statement was attributed to “The Family of Victoria Kafka Jones.”That Chronicle report also noted that “a woman identified as Victoria Jones” had numerous 2025 arrests in Napa County, plus one public intoxication and resisting arrest charge in Santa Cruz County. Those arrests are not confirmed as being the same Victoria Jones who is Tommy Lee Jones’s recently deceased daughter. But the Bay Area News Group has confirmed with the Napa County Sheriff's Office that the arrests in that county were of Tommy Lee Jones’s daughter Victoria Jones. Those were two arrests. One started as a 12:13 am April 26, 2025  wellness check on her in a Napa hotel which turned up evidence of cocaine, and resulted in charges of possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and resisting officers. About a month and a half later on June 13, deputies were called to a different hotel on Sonoma Highway over a fight turned violent, and Jones was arrested and booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of suspicion of domestic violence. (She has pleaded not guilty in both cases.)There was a third reported Napa County domestic violence incident on February 11, 2025, though the Sheriff’s Office arrested her bu did not pursue charges, because the victim in that incident asked that charges not be pressed. And we should note that in all three Napa County cases, the same person put in the police call all three times.   So there may be some recent drug history with Victoria Jones, though the SF Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet confirmed a cause of death. The Santa Cruz County case, which is not 100% certain to be the same Victoria Jones, is consistent with the incidents described above. The Chronicle reports that in April 2025, “she was arrested in Santa Cruz County on charges of resisting or obstructing a public officer and public intoxication,” with no additional information. But it may be relevant that the Chronicle also reports that father Tommy Lee Jones himself tried to place Victoria Jones under a conservatorship in August 2023, after she had been hospitalized over a previous drug incident. But the elder father Jones withdrew that request in December 2023, so it never happened. The 34-year-old Victoria Jones was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife Kimberlea Cloughley. The younger Jones appeared in a teenage cameo role in 2002’s Men in Black II, had a single TV show appearance in 2003 on “One Tree Hill,” and also appeared in the 2005 Tommy Lee Jones-directed film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada in which allowed a fair number of family members to participate.
