PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said three men were arrested in connection with a robbery on Allens Avenue. 38-year-old Victor Encarnacion, 31-year-old Bulaon Hawkins, and 35-year-old Roberto Cales were charged with robbery and conspiracy. Police said that officers were told by victims that they were sitting in a parked car when two men approached them, who the “displayed firearms and demanded property.” The suspects then fled along with a third unarmed man in a Jeep with several stolen items. Rhode Island State Police then spotted the suspect vehicle and pursued it down Interstate 95 South.
