Police said the man then entered a corner store along the 1400 block of Luzerne Street and gave the baby to an unknown person before leaving the area. The man was later arrested by police along the 3900 block of L Street. The suspect’s girlfriend was taken to the hospital where she was treated for facial and throat injuries. The woman’s baby was also taken to the hospital for an evaluation but did not have any visible injuries, police said. Police have not yet released the suspect’s identity or the charges he’ll face. The Special Victims Unit continues to investigate. ...read more read less
