COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Dept. of Health reports that more measles cases continue to climb in the state connected to the Upstate Outbreak. According to the SCDPH, there are 9 new cases of measles in the state since Tuesday, December 30, 2025. The 9 additional cases now brings the total numbe r of cases in SC related to the outbreak to 185. Four of the new cases were known household exposures, one resulted from a previously reported school exposure, the source of three cases is unknown, and one is still being investigated.
