The National Weather Service has issued coastal flood and wind advisories for parts of the region. The wind advisory will be in effect from late 1 p.m. Friday through 1 p.m. Saturday for much of the Bay Area. Strong southerly winds of 15-25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 50 mph, in the Nor th Bay Mountains, San Francisco, East Bay Hills, Pacific Coast and Monterey and San Benito county, the NWS said. The coastal flood advisory will be in effect through 2 p.m. Sunday for the Pacific Coast and the San Francisco Bay shoreline.
