Police in Delaware are investigating after a man died from a shooting on Wednesday evening, according to the Wilmington Police Department. The shooting happened just before 8 p.m. on Dec. 31 on the 600 block of West 6th Street in Wilmington, police said. Officers found a man in his early 40s suffering from a gunshot wound, police reported. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died. This shooting is under investigation.
