(KRON) -- Authorities in the East Bay are seeking information to track down a Chevrolet Camaro that fled from a California Highway Patrol officer Wednesday morning. The black Camaro was traveling over 100 miles per hour at 8:20 a.m. on westbound Interstate 580 between Dublin and Castro Valley, acco rding to CHP. The driver of the Camaro evaded a CHP officer during the ensuing pursuit. (CHP Dublin)(CHP Dublin) The car’s license plate was described by authorities as black with yellow or white writing. “During the pursuit, the driver was able to ‘black out’ or ‘turn off’ the plate,” CHP wrote.
