CHARLESTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — Mystic Aquarium said it released its last seal of the season in Charlestown on Wednesday. The seal, named Sugar Plum, was stranded in Rye, New Hampshire on Oct. 16 with serious injuries to his hind flippers. The aquarium said Sugar Plum was rescued by the Seacoast Scien ce Center and was rehabilitated in Mystic, where he gained 10 pounds and was finally released.
