A gunshot fired in the food court area of a New Jersey mall on Tuesday caused a scare and some transit detours, but no injuries, police say. Three people — two adults and a minor — were taken into custody for their alleged roles in the physical fight that led to the shot fired at Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, officials say. Officers responding to the scene around 7 p.m. were told multiple suspects had been seen running away from the scene. No apparent victims were found. Several people were detained.
