Authorities are investigating the death of a 4-year-old girl in the Bronx. Police didn’t immediately respond Monday to requests for any new information in the case of the little girl, who was found unconscious near Barnes and Adee avenues in Allerton Friday morning after someone called 911. It’s not exactly clear where the girl was when police found her unresponsive. Emergency personnel took her to a hospital in critical condition. She later died. It wasn’t clear if there were signs of trauma to her body. The medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy to determine how she died. The girl’s name has not been released.
