This year’s “America’s Party” fireworks display will be launched from the rooftops of nine Strip casinos: MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, Venetian, Resorts World, Fontainebleau and The Strat. A 10th casino, the Palms, will also be part of the show, the fir st time a non-Strip property has participated. The eight-minute presentation will include a drone show, another first, and be synced with a soundtrack of hits from the Eagles, Def Leppard, the Scorpions, Blake Shelton, Foreigner and others, and aired on local radio stations. The Strip will be closed to traffic for the evening and open to pedestrians who want to celebrate on the Boulevard; an estimated 340,000 visitors are expected over the weekend.
