A winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 2:22 a.m. valid from Monday 1 p.m. until Friday 1 a.m. for Southern Erie as well as Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.“Total snow accumulations 1 to 2 feet. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph creating blowing an d drifting snow and whiteout conditions,” can be expected according to the weather service. “Lake effect snow is expected oscillate several times downwind of Lake Erie this week.
