The National Weather Service released a winter storm watch at 1:47 a.m. on Sunday valid from Monday 7 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Onondaga and Madison counties.The weather service comments, “Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations of up to 7 inches or more in the most persist ent lake snow bands.
