Two people were arrested Saturday after what Colorado Springs police said was a possible attempted burglary turned into an assault. City police responded to a condemned building in the 4300 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue just before 11:30 a.m. Saturday and found a security guard beaten, accordin g to an online blotter entry. Officers learned the guard had contacted people who were attempting to enter the building. “Multiple adults” armed with bats and tools allegedly began assaulting the guard.
