An unidentified man was found dead around Friday morning near a fence at the top of an embankment along southbound State Route 163 at the interchange with Interstate 5 near Balboa Park. The man was found around 7:30 a.m., by authorities who said the man experienced a medical emergency. He was pronou nced dead at the scene. The CHP is investigating the circumstances of the death and a toxicology report is pending.
