3 Upstate NY counties under winter storm watch next week with gusts up to 50 mph

The National Weather Service has released a winter storm watch valid from Monday, Dec. 29 at 4 p.m. until Thursday, Jan. 1 at 7 a.m. for Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties.The watch, issued Saturday afternoon, calls for heavy snow and strong winds in counties around Lake Ontario.
