On Saturday at 6:20 a.m. the National Weather Service released an updated special weather statement until 10 a.m. for Northern Westchester, Southern Westchester, Richmond (Staten Is.), Kings (Brooklyn), Northwest Suffolk, Northeast Suffolk, Southwest Suffolk, Southeast Suffolk, Northern Queens, Nort hern Nassau, Southern Queens and Southern Nassau as well as Orange, Putnam, Rockland, New York (Manhattan) and Bronx counties."Snow continues to taper off to flurries early this morning. Little to no additional snow accumulation is expected. Roads, especially secondaries, remain snow covered and hazardous.
