The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning at 1:19 p.m. on Thursday valid from Friday 4 p.m. until Saturday 1 p.m. for Northern Westchester, Southern Westchester, Richmond (Staten Is.), Kings (Brooklyn), Northwest Suffolk, Southwest Suffolk, Northern Queens, Northern Nassau, Southern Queens and Southern Nassau as well as Orange, Putnam, Rockland, New York (Manhattan) and Bronx counties.The weather service adds to prepare for, “Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8 inches.” ...read more read less
