Fire destroyed a beach cabana in Queens’ Breezy Point overnight, creating a dramatic scene as the sun rose on Wednesday, but causing no reported injuries. The FDNY says it responded to a three-alarm fire at Beach 193rd Street around 4:30 a.m. At one point, units had to be pulled from the build ing because of concerns it could collapse. The fire took about three hours to control. Video posted to the Citizen app shows the large response. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
