A fire at a PGE substation in Saratoga has left about 21,000 customers in the South Bay without power Wednesday morning, according to the utility. The fire occurred at about 8:25 a.m. and has since been contained, PGE officials said on social media shortly after 10 a.m. PGE said its “leaders are on-site supporting crews first responders” but did not share any other information about the fire.
