Dec 24, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A foggy start across Central Indiana this morning. We will look for mild conditions this Christmas with temperatures well above normal for this time of year.  Colder air does move in later in the weekend into next week. Temperatures will drop well below normal for this time of year. TODAY: A foggy start with a little bit of cloud cover this morning. We will see sunshine with a few clouds this morning. More clouds moving in later this afternoon. High temperatures right around 51. Our normal high for this time of year is 38. TONIGHT: If you were heading out to Christmas Eve services you may need the umbrella. A few spotty showers are possible across much of the state under mostly cloudy skies. We will look for any precipitation to be on the light side. More fog could develop later tonight and early on Christmas Day. Temperatures will actually rise throughout the overnight hours. TOMORROW: Some patchy fog is likely early on your Christmas Day. A few very light spotty showers early in the morning are possible. Most of the day will be cloudy. High temperatures will be right around 55 degrees. More spotty showers are likely late Thursday night.  7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Temperatures climb back into the sixties for Friday. We will see some scattered showers possible on your Friday. It will be mild. High temperatures will climb right around 63 degrees. On Saturday partly cloudy skies dry conditions with temperatures near 60. Sunday a cold front will move across the state bringing windy conditions and a few scattered showers. High temperatures will be early in the day right around 53 and dramatically drop for the afternoon. On Monday bitterly cold air pushes into the state and wind chill values will be into the single digits early Monday morning. Highs will be bitterly cold only around 23 degrees. ...read more read less
