Santa Claus makes a stop at Deer Valley Resort
Santa Claus will make a Christmas Eve visit to Deer Valley on Wednesday. Visitors can find the jolly elf from 9-11 a.m. at the Snow Park Lodge and then from noon-1:30 p.m. at the Silver Lake Lodge. For information, visit deervalley.com/things-to-do/

Park City Mountain’s Torchlight Parade
Park City Mountain will host its annual Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The free event be held at Canyons Village. Santa will be on hand, and attendees can bring their own cameras to take photos. The afternoon starts off with carolers at 1 p.m. and live music and DJ Bryson Dearden at the Ski Beach. Kurt Bestor Christmas Continues
Emmy Award-winning composer Kurt Bestor continues his tradition of intimate Christmas concerts in Park City. The final performances of the season are at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at the Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. Tickets range from $35-$53. Libraries Closed on Thursday
The Park City Library and all Summit County Library branches — Kamas Valley, Coalville and Kimball Junction — will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday for Christmas. Park City Film: ‘A River Runs Through It’
Park City Film’s Robert Redford Tribute Series will wrap with a free screeing of the 1992 film, “A River Runs Through It,” at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Park City Library’s Jim Santy Auditorium, 1255 Park Ave. The film, directed and narrated by Redford, who died on Sept. 16, is based on a book by Norman Maclean. It’s about two brothers, played by Brad Pitt and Craig Sheffer, who are sons of a minister, played by Tom Skerritt, and it examines their relationships and love of fly fishing in the early 1900s. The Swaner Preserve EcoCenter Closes for the Holidays
