A person fleeing from law enforcement was struck and killed on Highway 4 in Antioch Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The collision happened at about 10:40 a.m. on eastbound Highway 4 just west of Somersville Road, the CHP said. The CHP said its officers were advised that a pedestrian was fleeing from a local law enforcement agency when they were struck by a car. They died at the scene.
