Richard Adamsky, a former teacher at Nativity of Our Lord Parish School and a former youth sports coach, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography. The former teacher and coach was arrested when local law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on the home where Adamsky lived last year. At that time, he reportedly told Bucks County investigators that he had been searching for, downloading and saving hundreds of images of child pornography. NBC10 was there back in September when the FBI took custody of him after charges were filed against him by the Department of Justice. The investigation into Adamsky began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported to law enforcement the possible downloading or obtaining of child sexual abuse material. Investigators tracked the IP address of the person who uploaded the image to Adamsky’s home in Warminster Township, according to the criminal complaint. The case is part of the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat the growing epidemic of childhood sexual exploitation and abuse. Adamsky taught at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School for more than three decades. He also coached youth sports at that school and two others. The age of the children he taught in 7th and 8th grade is the same age group that was depicted in the child pornography images, according to investigators.
