On Monday at 1:07 p.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Tuesday between 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. for Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, Tioga, Broome, Delaware and Sullivan counties."Snow and mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumu lations between 2 and 5 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze," explains the weather service.
