SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- After a wet weekend, rain continues Monday across the Bay Area. The heaviest of the rain will be in the morning, then showery conditions through the afternoon with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Minor flooding is possible for the North Bay. A flood watch remains in effec t for the North Bay through Friday evening and a flood watch for the rest of the Bay Area and Central Coast begins Tuesday morning. Increasing chances for urban flooding and extensive travel delays late Tuesday into early Friday across the entire Bay Area and Central Coast as widespread heavy rain and strong wind returns. An additional 4-6 inches of rain is possible through Friday for the North Bay, with a general 2-4 inches possible elsewhere. Wind gusts Tuesday through Wednesday could reach 60 mph, with a high wind watch in place, so it's a good idea to prepare for power outages (charge EVs, phones, have extra batteries, etc.). ...read more read less
