WOWO Celebrates Christmas Traditions and a Century on the Air with Special Holiday Programming WOWO will continue several long-standing holiday traditions this Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, while also celebrating its 100th year on the air with special programming highlighting legendary voices fro m the station’s history. For the 20th consecutive year, WOWO will air Manheim Steamroller’s “An American Christmas,” a listener favorite that has become a signature part of the station’s holiday lineup. WOWO will also once again broadcast Christmas Eve Mass live from St. Paul Lutheran Church. In addition to its religious and holiday specials, WOWO is closing out its centennial year with a special “Week of Legends,” featuring classic audio, tributes, and memories from iconic WOWO personalities including Bob Sievers, Bob Chase, Charly Butcher, and more.
