Running back Cody Schrader, picked up off waivers by the Broncos on Monday, was inactive Sunday for his first game with the team. Also inactive for Denver for the game against Jacksonville were linebacker Justin Strnad, ruled out Friday with a foot injury, defensive linemen Jordan Jackson and Sai ’vion Jones, cornerback Reese Taylor, tackle Geron Christian and quarterback Sam Ehlinger. Ehlinger was activated Saturday off the practice squad with the expectation he wouldn’t be active against the Jaguars. He has had two of his three allowed elevations this season. The Broncos are giving him increased game checks for games due to his loyalty for having turned down offers to join a 53-man roster on other teams.
