Shooting leads to standoff at Palace Hotel in San Francisco

A shooting led to a standoff at Palace Hotel in San Francisco Saturday afternoon, according to police.
The police department said they responded to the Palace Hotel on New Montgomery Street at around 12:15 p.m. regarding shots being fired.
At the scene, officers located a possible suspect in t
he building, but the suspect has refused to comply with officers’ commands to exit, according to authorities.
Officials reported no people were hurt and parts of building that were affected by the incident have been evacuated. They ask for people to stay away from the area as officers continue to work with the suspect.
NBC Bay Area was on the scene, and was able to observe what seemed like a police drone looking into the windows of the Palace Hotel. Montgomery BART station was closed and the intersection of Montgomery and Market was closed to pedestrians.
