(KRON) -- The California Highway Patrol has issued an Ebony Alert across two Bay Area counties for a missing 12-year-old girl who vanished last Tuesday night in San Jose. Esha Peairs was last seen at 11:53 p.m. at the intersection of Foxworthy and New Jersey avenues in San Jose, according to CHP. Authorities said they believe Esha is traveling on foot. Flyer courtesy of CHP. Esha is described as 5 feet tall and weighing 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. It was not immediately clear what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance. CHP announced Saturday afternoon that they activated the Ebony Alert in Alameda and Santa Clara counties on behalf of San Jose police.
