Inland Empire Health Plan is seeking nominations for its annual Living the Mission Awards. The awards go to individuals, community organizations or companies whose mission is to create a healthier community. Nominations are open through Jan. 31 for the Inspire Award, the Vibrant Health Award and th e Creativity and Innovation Award. Criteria for each award include actions and contributions that embody the health plan’s mission to heal and inspire the human spirit, according to a news release from Inland Empire Health Plan. “The Living the Mission Awards give us the opportunity each year to celebrate the great work that positively impacts our community,” Jarrod McNaughton, Inland Empire Health Plan executive officer, said in the news release. “So manypositive things are happening in our communities, and we are honored to recognize and share those stories.” Recipients will be announced May 1 at the annual Mission Conference at Inland Empire Health Plan’s main campus in Rancho Cucamonga. At that ceremony, the health plan will also present two Optimal Care Awards. Winners of those awards are selected based on Inland Empire Health Plan review of clinical outcome data. Previous award recipients include Dr. Sushil Anand, Optimal Care Award; Cedar House, Vibrant Health Award; and Renewing Hope, Creativity and Innovation Award.
