He’s one of the greatest of all time. He is a force to be reckoned with. “We’ve got to be ready for everything that they can throw at us. They will clinch a playoff spot if they beat the Browns, who are careening downhill on a three-game losing streak that has left them with a 3-11 record. When the season ends, their story will be about how many sacks Garrett will have and whether Shedeur Sanders can convince management that the Browns don’t have to spend their first draft pick on a quarterback. Garrett on Dec. 19 said it would “absolutely” be special if he could set the sack record against the NFL’s reigning MVP. Strahan recorded his record-setting sack against Packers quarterback Brett Favre, who in 2016 was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. “I mean, he’s a gunslinger himself, so he’s the kind of guy that, I guess you would say, Mike got those years ago,” Garrett said. “I think it’s a bit of a funny comparison because those guys have similar styles.
