At 11:43 p.m. on Friday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory in effect until Saturday at 7 a.m. for Eastern Rensselaer and Eastern Columbia.The weather service states to prepare for, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph."
