On Friday at 8:43 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a high wind warning in effect until 1 p.m. for Eastern Clinton, Western Essex and Eastern Essex."South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph," can be expected according to the weather service.
