Heavy rain will ease as we go into Friday afternoon.We’re tracking rain across most of th e area Friday with heavy downpours during the morning commute.Strong gusty winds began to ramp up around 6 a.m. and will continue through 10 a.m. this morning with potential for some isolated wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph. This could lead to power outages as tree limbs or trees are blown down. We’re not expecting widespread power outages or damage, but the threat is there this morning.The rain tapers off as we go into Friday afternoon. The wind will change direction and our mild morning temperatures near 60° will be falling into the 40s in the afternoon.
