On Thursday at 1:10 p.m. a coastal flood advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid for Friday between 6 a.m. and 1 p.m. for Northeast Suffolk."Up to 1 1/2 ft of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline," explains the weather servi ce. "Heavy rain during the time of high tide may exacerbate flood impacts.
