RAMS at SEAHAWKS 8:15 p.m., Rams by 1½, 43½ HANK’S HONEYS: Sam Darnold is 0-3 against the Rams since the start of the 2024 season and 21-4 against everyone else. What gives? Our minds keep returning to Sam Darnold’s last two starts against the Rams (last year’s playoff game with the Vikings and this year’s first meeting). Each time, he crumbled under pressure, because, while Darnold is an adept blitz beater, the Rams don’t blitz. They can get to you with their front four and they can play coverage behind it. Darnold’s four picks four weeks ago also came against blanket coverage when LA seemed to know what was coming. It’s going to take a heck of an adjustment to turn that around. On the negative side for the Rams is the status of Davante Adams, who leads the NFL with 14 TDs and is uncertain with a hamstring that forced him out of Sunday’s game. Sean McVay says he’ll play if he can and the red-hot Matt Stafford does have other targets, led by Puka Nacua. If you need further support, the Rams are on a 17-3 December run ATS, have covered five straight at Lumen Field and are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 road games. It’s football. Anything can happen.
