An updated wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:11 a.m. valid from Friday midnight until Saturday midnight for Northern Westchester, Southern Westchester, Richmond (Staten Is.), Kings (Brooklyn), Northwest Suffolk, Southwest Suffolk, Northern Queens, Northern Nas sau, Southern Queens and Southern Nassau as well as Orange, Putnam, Rockland, New York (Manhattan) and Bronx counties."Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected," explains the weather service.
